| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 4, 2008 Bottle pours a hazy amber with small head and no lace. The aroma is malty. The flavor is sweet, malty, slightly floral, and a bit like a blonde. The palate works for a hot day camping out. Overall, not offensive. hopdog (5614), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA
| 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Jul 4, 2008 12oz bottle acquired in trade with tytoanderso (thanks!). Opened to a loud psst (I half expected it to gush but it didn’t). Poured a medium and slightly hazy golden color with a larger sized off white head. Aromas of grass, wet grass, and I’m getting something weird; sulphur maybe or vegetables .Light citrus to. I couldn’t get around that off aroma. Tastes of grains and some grass. Tart and almost sour finish that doesn’t belong there. Nuffield (2728), Roseville, Minnesota, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Apr 26, 2008 I thought the aroma was fine--a pleasant bit of hops on a regular-old malt body. The flavor disappointed me, however, having some lemon and grapefruit in the front but a slightly bitter and mostly muddy finish, earthy is a good word for it. Unattractive appearance by color and large-form carbonation. Moderate palate, some acidity and tingle, but nothing special. Slightly less than "drinkable" for my tastes. | 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Apr 4, 2008 Pours a mostly clear honey yellow with close to no head. Aroma is grassy with subtle hop undertones, just weird aroma. Flavor is no better. Did they brew broccoli b/c i am just not sure. I really am not sure how to describe this beer. The flavor is grassy and earthy, not really even of hops just strange. Body is very light and carbonation is low low low. yikes. WisconsinBeer (531), St Paul, Minnesota, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Apr 3, 2008 Bottle. Slightly hazy yellow, minimal carbonation bubbles. Head is slight to non-existent. Flavor is moderate malt with a dryish somewhat sticky pine and citrus hop profile. Medium bodied. Lacking in the middle and mostly one-dimensional. I’m definitely getting the vegetal notes others have commented on, and it really drags this beer down. I’ll take a pass on this one next time. ChainGangGuy (2613), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA
| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 3/5 | 4/20 | Feb 15, 2008 Appearance: Pours a hazy, orange-yellow body with a thin, scant white head.
Smell: Aroma of citrus peels, vegetables, and garlic. Dear me.
Taste: Dry maltiness with a hint of peanut shells. Citric and bitter. Vegetal till the merciful finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: Ugh. I don’t believe I’ve picked up a bottle from Brau Brothers yet that wasn’t spoiled in some way or fashion. kp (8500), Woodstock, Georgia, USA
