Couldy golden with absolutely no head even after an aggressive pour. Aroma was sweet, fruity with notes of malt and perhaps some honey. Taste was of honey sweetness, citrus, malt and caramel. But there was little or no carbonation. Possibly a flat bottle. sliffy (2012), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jul 2, 2007 Bottle thanks to joebrew: Pours a clear copper with a white head. Aroma, some citrusy hops, with some corn syrupy sweet malts. Flavor, sweet up front, some caramel and pale malts, leading to a metallic citrus hop finish. Light bitterness on the end, with an odd metallic aftertaste. BDR (2170), Roseville, Minnesota, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 3, 2007 Thanks JK! Gold color with a thin head. The aroma was completely undetectable for me. A weak, dry malt flavor with no hop bitterness. I’d pass on another. Skyview (4111), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 24, 2007 Received 12-oz sample bottle to try from distributor. Cool ACL printed bottle. Pours a clear brown amber brew with a fast dissolving off white head. Lacing is minimal and spotty. Aroma is light and has both caramel, roasted light malt and flowery hops. Palate is smooth, creamy with a metalic aftertaste. Finish is clean and smooth. Not too shabby pale ale, it’s enjoyable. tytoanderso (1387), St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | May 22, 2007 Bottle. Pours full amber with decent creamy head. Notes of corn, malt and a hint (just a hint) of dry hops on the nose. Mild and creamy on the palate. Fairly full bodied. Malty. Hint of pilsner-esque hops. Slightly metallic. Finishes dry and metallic. Nothing spectacular but not horrible. MilkmanDan (1940), Eagan, Minnesota, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 14, 2005 Very pale straw gold, clear. Nose hoppy with some light sweet malt. Flavor very sharp and hoppy, quite bracing, bit of fruitiness and a nice round finish. One of the crispest beers I’ve ever had. JK (2967), Richfield, Minnesota, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 8, 2005 This brewpub with a German name knows how to do pale ales. This one has light, crisp hops for flavoring and a mild hop aroma. The beer is yellow with a moderate head. Clean.
