12oz bottle acquired in trade with tytoanderso (thanks!). Opened to a loud psst (I half expected it to gush but it didn’t). Poured a medium and slightly hazy golden color with a larger sized off white head. Aromas of grass, wet grass, and I’m getting something weird; sulphur maybe or vegetables .Light citrus to. I couldn’t get around that off aroma. Tastes of grains and some grass. Tart and almost sour finish that doesn’t belong there.

Bottle courtesy of tytoanderso. Pours copper with a thin white head. Smells of vegetables and earthy. Tastes of citrus, some pepper, watery.

Received 12-oz sample bottle to try from distributor. Cool ACL printed bottle. Pours a clear brown amber brew with a fast dissolving off white head. Lacing is minimal and spotty. Aroma is light and has both caramel, roasted light malt and flowery hops. Palate is smooth, creamy with a metalic aftertaste. Finish is clean and smooth. Not too shabby pale ale, it’s enjoyable.

Bottle thanks to Skyview! Poured a clear, bright orange-tinted golden with a rather well-retained cap of off-white head. Aroma picked up dusty bread and detergent notes at first.. not so much what I was looking for.. with only slightly-redeeming caramel and leafy hops coming through. Flavor began with a sticky vegetal bitterness that I could have done with out.. backed by darker caramel and grainy sweetness at the core.. pine and citrus hoppage was OK at best.. long, ugly finish taking me back to the beginning. This had a spritzy bitter/alcohol? bite throughout with a grainy middle.. got caught up at a few points, dragging ugly vegetal notes slowly across the palate. Not good.

Thanks JK! Gold color with a thin head. The aroma was completely undetectable for me. A weak, dry malt flavor with no hop bitterness. I’d pass on another.

Bottle. Poured a clear medium orange color with an off white head. The aroma and flavor were similar with malty caramel and toffee accompanied by light floral hops. Although these elements were in roughy equal proportions in the aroma, the toffee and caramel dominated the flavor. Light to medium bodied and sweet.

In the bottle from HyVee CB. Pours amber with a medium white head. Mild aroma of toasted caramel. At first, a slight tartnes then gives rise to a big sweet malty caramel finish that has a bit of berries at the end. Perhaps a very slight tinge of diacetyl. OK beer.
