Tragically, a vague witticism regarding the type of serving container was the best thing about this beer. Nose light sugars, bit of orange peel-esque spice and fruit. Flavor is quite sour and musty, very little spice if any, no real tripel characters. If it hadn’t been served from a fresh growler by the brewer at a festival, I’d have assumed it was horribly infected. As it was, it’s not a good tripel.
