Maria (4321), Thisted, Denmark Oct 1, 2008 Gravity cask on the brewpub. It’s unclear, warm orange. The aroma has notes of caramel, malt and a little fruit. The flavour has notes of malt, caramel and oranges. It has a slightly dry citrus bite and a smooth sweetness. The balance is very nice, and the overall impression is mild, smooth and pleasant – a nice start on our trip to the Eastern part of Germany. rane (365), Nibe, Denmark May 18, 2008 Cask at the brewpub. Hazy orange and very unclear beer. Not very much aroma a little hopps. Taste malty with some notes of hopps as well. Get quite sweet after a while. A litlle disappointing. I had expected more of this beer. larsga (2293), Oslo, Norway May 14, 2008 Big shiny offwhite coarseish lasting head. Hazy orange body. Yeasty straw and malts aroma. Sweetish-dry slightly papery straw and malts taste with floral hop notes. Full-bodied, yet light, harmonic and clean. Dry floral hops and straw aftertaste. Soft, mild mouthfeel. Spicy. Very nice, and very drinkable. (0.3l wooden cask at the brewpub.) Hildigöltur (5056), København Ø, Denmark May 13, 2008 Draught from wooden cask at the brewpub. Hazy amber coloured. Malty and bready aroma. Bready sweetish flavour with a very soft mouthfeel. Low carbonation level. Some bitterness in the finish. Very smooth and pleasant. Yogi_Beera (2404), Hamburg, Germany Jan 14, 2008 Slighly cloudy copper color. - Kind of like an altbeer in the color. I wouldn’t call it a Zwickel. Small head on top. Some sweet nose and nutty malt taste- very boring. Service was quite unfriendly - not something I would recommend to go out of the way for.
