Lightly roasty and fruity. medium bodied with well rounded mouthfeel. A bit of nuts and perfume.Medium bitterness. Really good! imdownthepub (4247), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England Jul 13, 2008 On tap at Schwartzer Adler, Dorfleins, Frankonia. Straw gold with white head. Light and lemony beer, quite thin and understated with a dry, bitterish finish. Pleasant without hitting the heights. pivnizub (4007), Porúří, Germany Jan 11, 2008 Bottle (purchased at the brewery) Straw golden coloured, "misty", lazy carbonation, pronounced aromatic hayish (or like freshly mowed grass) hoppy nose, delicate grainy dusty aromas in the background, not without a barnyardy tinge; solid, mainly bitter flavour, quite light bodied, soft MF; robust hoppy palemalty finish with a soft "tail". Superb franconian quality.... more an excellent Pilsener than a Kellerbier! MoritzF (4019), Ruhrpott, Germany Dec 27, 2007 (bottle) Slightly hazy, pale golden colour with a persistent foamy white medium-sized head. Slightly sweet and yeasty, citrus-fruity hoppy aroma. Bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a well-carbonated mouthfeel. Herbal hops accented taste, slightly citrousy on a mildly malty base; dryish bitter-sweet herbal hoppy finish. A decent kind of a Keller-Pils.
