rickgordon (3077), Göteborg, Sweden Aug 7, 2008 On draught at the brewpub.
Deep golden colour. Aroma is doughy malty with hints of citrus. Really malty flavour with long flavour, and the hops set in nicely at a late stage. Bit astringent, but what the heck!
fonefan (5507), Ulfborg, Denmark Nov 21, 2008 Bottle 50cl. @ home.
[ Trade by Maria ]. Clear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted notes, caramel. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to light light heavy bitter with a average to long duration. Bitterness is malt bitter with some acrid sour bitterness aswell. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. (070908) Quack-Duck (1973), Bodensee, Germany Sep 26, 2008 bottle. Clear bronze-golden colour, smallhead. Malty-caramelly aroma. Low carbonation, as is typical for an Ungespundetes, malty body with some very nice aromatic hops. Smooth moughfeel, very well balanced maltyness and aromatic hoppy bitterness in the lingering finish. Hints of caramel hovering in the background. kappldav123 (1170), Markkleeberg, Germany Aug 16, 2008 The bottle looks good. The beer in the glass is very zippy, but not much foam. Tastes malty and dry, modest sourish, somehow hard and unbalanced. Not very drinkable. Had better ones! DSG (997), Yuvalim, Israel Aug 9, 2008 (7/2/08) Gravity at the brewpub in Merkendorf. Served in a ceramic mug. Aroma is quite grainy with some bread notes. Sweetish malty flavor, a bit grainy, with a dry and quite hoppy finish. Medium-bodied.
