Hazy, light golden with a huge, nice and lasting head. The aroma has notes of wheat, yeast, clove, banana and sweetness. The flavour has sweetness and notes of clove, yeast, wheat and banana and it ends with a slightly spicy bite. It’s a quite decent weiss.

Bottle, at the brewpub December 2005. Hazy gold, moderate lasting white head and good condition. Slightly phenolic aroma with hints of sulphur and yeast, good clovey phenolic wheatiness and gentle fruity banana in the mouth and some emerging lemon citrus notes in the finish along with some sweet fruit and a slightly chalky yeastiness.

Bottle. Rich creamy white head, cloudy neon yellow pour. Looks more like a Wit than a Weizen. Aroma is heavily wheaty and yeasty, stronger citrus than normal, and slightly lighter bananas + cloves. Smooth taste instead of crisp, spiciness is restrained. Citrus and wheat are the dominant flavors, normal HW notes are pushed to the bg. Mild chalky coating on the palate and throat. Refreshing and pleasant. Thanks, pivnizub!
