| A Weizen Bock brewed by Brauhaus am Turm Kirchheimbolanden, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany
| |
shrubber85 (2598), COB Speicher, Iraq Mar 7, 2008 From the brewery’s cellar - owner gave a sample to Koelschtrinker and I special (upon the request from Koelschtrinker - Vielen Dank) as this was the last of this beer for the season. Had a nice banana clove aroma. Cloudy golden yellow color with moderate head. Banana wheat malt and clove flavor with a light astringent finish. Light flavor for a Weizenbock - very easy drinking. Close to a standard Hefe in taste - the smoothest Weizenbock I’ve had.
