Bov (4735), Bienne, Switzerland Aug 14, 2008 courtesy of Laurent Mousson - clear and golden colour, stable firm white foam; aroma of almonds; some fair astringence, sweet and with a low carbonation; sweetish and oily bitter almondy aftertaste - original and interesting
frankenkitty (1832), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA Oct 22, 2008 My notes are a bit scrawled, so bear with me. Poured with a huge white head over a pleasant amber/golden body after a violent cork-pop. Aroma and flavor both find yeast & peppers with additional greenery. Mouthfeel was a bit thin. Finishes with bitters.

From our friend Jill (formerly of Viernheim, Germany), enjoyed last summer with the first 4 raters of this beer below.
shrubber85 (2598), COB Speicher, Iraq Apr 5, 2008 Bottle. Lemon malt and grass hops aroma. Golden yellow color with small head. Dry lemon peel and stale barley malt flavor with moderate acidity. A very herbal/hoppy beer without much malt - difficult to really put a label on this one. dm9831 (706), Monee, USA Mar 12, 2008 Bottle courtesy of Frankenkitty. Consumed at Rayboy01’s Cajun Fais Do Do. me too, me too. pours gold with a fluffy white head. the aroma was just grainy to me. there was something flower sweet in the flavor that i didn’t care for. after a while, there was a trace of bitterenss. didn’t care for his onemuch. holdenn (1199), Chicago, Illinois, USA Oct 9, 2007 Sampled at RAYBOY01’s Cajun Fais-Do-Do thanks to Frankenkitty. Pours golden and hazy with a white head. Aroma is that malty yeasty lemony grainy old helles. Grainy malts with a light grassy bitterness. Not good but not for a helles - not bad either.
