MoritzF (4019), Ruhrpott, Germany Apr 9, 2007 (bottle, with special thanks to Stefan!) Hazy, copper colour with a short creamy, off-white layer. Sweet, moderately yeasty, toast-malty aroma with toffee and notes of chestnuts, plus a light hoppy touch. Sweet flavour, medium to light body on a smooth carbonation. Toasty, malt-accented taste with toffee and distinctive nutty notes; malty, sweet-ish finish with a tinge of herbal hops and a yeasty bitterness coming through. This one was vintage 2007. Last years Osterhäsli was a dark Bock.
