ekstedt (2052), Göteborg, Sweden Sep 27, 2008 Bottle (50 cl), thanks oh6gdx. Clear copper, medium off-white head. Malty, fudgy, and caramelly, slightly acidic. Medium bodied and smooth. Well balanced. No wheat beer characteristics.
oh6gdx (6459), Vaasa, Finland Sep 28, 2008 Bottled@gnoff (as Festival 2007, thanks to whoever gave this to me in Denmark). Deep brownish amber colour with mediumsized fluffy beige head. Aroma is caramel malts, alcohol and very sweet hops. Some mild notes of alcohol too. Flavour is yeasty, rubbery fruits, some sour wood, wheat and mild spices. Alcohol gives a slight burning touch too. gnoff (2923), Göteborg, Sweden Sep 27, 2008 As Braunstein Festival 2007
(50 cl Bottle, thanks to ohggdx!)
On September 17, 2008
Clear copper color, light brown head. Comments: A caramel and banana mixture that lacks a bit of the wheat grip and yeast influences of the best examples.

Poured in a Weizen, a nutty brown liquid with a fizzy off white head that soon leaves. Aroma is very much caramel and a little roaste. Rather lively mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet, lots of caramel, but with a good background of hops and roasted malts. Not much of a hefe.
