Pinball (813), Allerød, Denmark Nov 18, 2008 aroma fruity , chocolate rather sweet fruity, darkish roasted stuff. pitch black, brown foam that settles, flavor is hard roasted malts, burnt grains, slight fruity notes, quite onesided but damn, this is roasted. slight caramel, aftertaste is ashes and coal. overall if you like "hard burned coal" ashy flavored beers, this will be your friend, it’s more smoked than even smoked beer. also faint porter flavours. Fin (2451), Merton, Oxfordshire, England Oct 22, 2008 Bottle picked up in Denmark, September 2008 consumed 22-10-08 Pours black with large dark brown bubbly wild head. There is a very slight sourness at first but this quickly subsides, coffee and a coffee inspired bitterness shine through. Its ok. Ungstrup (11692), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 17, 2008 Draft. A pitch black beer with a slight brown shine under a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of chocolate as well as medium notes of roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with an acidic edge from the hard roasted malt combined with coffee notes. The body is a bit thin. thomat (595), Göteborg, Sweden Sep 29, 2008 Dark brown with a heavy brown head.
