omhper (10950), Stockholm, Sweden Jul 16, 2008 Bottled at Petalax Beer Festival. Cloudy deep golden with lots of particles and lively brief head. Estery aroma with burnt pineapple. Sweet and fruity with odd underlying rowanberry sourness. Full bodied with arousing alcohol and rare minerals (Einsteinium?). Ashy bitteness with some melon wrapped in parma ham. Think Belgian style. Or think bottom fermented tripel. Also think vodka. An almost bizarre, yet very enjoyable beer that is so complicated that it almost trips over it’s own feet. oh6gdx (6460), Vaasa, Finland Jul 15, 2008 Bottled. Hazy golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruits, yeast, grass and mild nectary hints. Flavour is wood, malts, alcohol and some slight rubbery/metallic/glueish and spicy notes. A rather interesting thing for a German beers, being on the boundaries of good vs bad when it comes to complexity and flavours. sayravai (3224), Helsinki, Finland Jul 12, 2008 (Bottled, 0.75l) Opaque amber with a small, white head. Aroma of smoky, salty maltiness with a hefty dose of fruity esters. Salty-smoky, fruity flavor with some alcohol. Medium to full-bodied with low to medium carbonation. Definitely an interesting brew for a German one. KimJohansen (4299), Copenhagen V, Denmark May 12, 2008 Hazy yellow with medium white head. Sweet fruity aroma with yeasty notes. Sweet fruity flavor with yeast and ripe fruity notes. Ends medium dry. yespr (7782), Copenhagen O, Denmark May 12, 2008 75 cL bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a cloudy and with yeast sediments. A huge gushing beer like usual. Seems infect yet it works. Aroma is mild citrc and dry caramel malt. Flavour is dry, light brett, and dry caramel malt base. Shows a mild spice note. Light fruity a malty finish.
