Bottle, 5.3%. Citric aroma. Cloudy orange colour. Stable white head. The flavour has some white bread at first, a little spice, then finishes with a quite rough orange peel bitterness. 6 3 5 3 12 fonefan (4333), Ulfborg, Denmark Apr 2, 2008 Bottle [Thanks to DSG] @ <a href=http://ratebeer.com/events-detail.asp?eventID=6803 target=_new> Zythos Bier Festival 2008, Sint Niklaas, Belgium. Cloudy yellow color with a white head. Aroma of pretty stinking yeast, almost infected-like, some wheat and a bit of fruits. Sweetish flavor with some wheat and some light fruity esters. Some late tart notes. Medium-bodied. Aroma is unpleasant but the flavor is OK. MoritzF (3690), Ruhrpott, Germany Mar 22, 2008 (swing top bottle, courtesy of Koelschtrinker) Cloudy, bright orange colour with a big, light-beige foamy head. Yeasty and slightly sweet and sourish fruity nose of overripe citrus-fruits and a tinge of banana, accompanied by and almost stenchy phenolic spicy note. Slightly sourish and bitter tart flavour, light to medium bodied with a lively carbonation. Light wheat-character, yeasty and orange fruity taste; dry and yeasty, slightly tart and bitter finish. Quite inharmonic, perhaps this doesn´t work bottled (22.03.08). yespr (6259), Copenhagen O, Denmark Mar 20, 2008 50 cL bottle, trade with Koelschtrinker. Pours hazy orange with a huge dense off-white head. Wheaty and light yeasty aroma. Wheaty and light fruity flavour. Mild spice note. Sweet note into the finish. Light lingering sweet wheat flavour.
