Bottle, 5.3%. Citric aroma. Cloudy orange colour. Stable white head. The flavour has some white bread at first, a little spice, then finishes with a quite rough orange peel bitterness. 6 3 5 3 12 fonefan (5507), Ulfborg, Denmark Apr 2, 2008 Bottle [Thanks to DSG] @ Zythos Bier Festival 2008, Sint Niklaas, Belgium. Hazy medium orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is light malty, wheat, moderate yeasty, horse blanket, barnyard, soap, earth, light banana. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. (020308) Rastacouere (5418), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Jun 10, 2007 A rather standard take on a german weizen. Straightforward banana nose, rather perfumey and strongly focusing on the wheat. The generous carbonation that feeds the more than decent white head over the yellow-orange pour also plays an important role in mouth, biting the tongue a fair bit, thus accentuating the lemony hints. Surpriseless. duff (5407), Sydney, Australia, Surrey, England Sep 1, 2006 Draught@GBBF06’. A little odd, soapy/lemony, with some subtle hint of clove and banana. Mouthfeel is a little bit short, and the palates a bit wishy washy.
