rauchbier (2877), Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, England Dec 19, 2004 Tap, at the brewpub. Muddy lemon gold, good white head and gentle condition. Low spicy wheatiness in the nose, sweet fruity malt with hints of banana and lemon and a slight chalkiness in the mouth and a short sweet finish.
Nekronos (2017), Xalapa, Mexico Sep 14, 2006 My favorite type of beer, I cannot help overrating them sometimes. It was good,a little insipit but that may be because of the number of beers I had before. It was a good beer on the whole. Rastacouere (5418), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Jun 10, 2007 A rather standard take on a german weizen. Straightforward banana nose, rather perfumey and strongly focusing on the wheat. The generous carbonation that feeds the more than decent white head over the yellow-orange pour also plays an important role in mouth, biting the tongue a fair bit, thus accentuating the lemony hints. Surpriseless. shrubber85 (2598), COB Speicher, Iraq Mar 8, 2008 Bottle (trade with Koelschtrinker). Yogurt wheat malt aroma. Cloudy yellow amber color with small head. Sour wheat malt flavor - no fruit or spice flavors that I can really detect. A straight-forward, bland wheat beer. yespr (7782), Copenhagen O, Denmark Mar 20, 2008 50 cL bottle, trade with Koelschtrinker. Pours hazy orange with a huge dense off-white head. Wheaty and light yeasty aroma. Wheaty and light fruity flavour. Mild spice note. Sweet note into the finish. Light lingering sweet wheat flavour.
