(151207) MesandSim (4623), Highgate, Greater London, England Dec 24, 2007 A Mes rate: from a Bottle at Kerstfest, Essen.
Cloudy, dirty brown colour. Like an amber rauch, very bland and lacking character. Meaty, bacon fat notes. Rather thin in the mouth. Far from being a great rauch. Dull. oh6gdx (6460), Vaasa, Finland Dec 19, 2007 Bottled (Vielen dank Koelschtrinker). Hazy orange colour, not much head. Aroma is mildly smoked with some malty and hoppy hints. Flavour is roasted malts, smoked wood and some mild hoppyness. Really balanced brew. Aftertaste is mildly smoked wood.
