DSG (867), Yuvalim, Israel Apr 1, 2008 (3/1/08) Sample from a growler shared by Koelschtrinker (Thanks Roman) at Zythos Bier Festival 2008 in Sint Niklaas. Cloudy orange color with an off-white head. Aroma of rosemary - interesting but quite strange. Flavor of rosemary and some malt. Feels way too weird and unpleasant at first, but as I continue sipping it starts to taste a bit more acceptable. I really like rosemary, but only in my food, not in my beer. fonefan (4884), Ulfborg, Denmark Apr 1, 2008 Bottle. 2l swingtop. [Thanks to Koelschtrinker] @ Zythos Bier Festival 2008, Sint Niklaas, Belgium. Murky amber orange color with a small, virtually none appearance, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, moderate to light heavy rosemary. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft - flat. The flavour has the same spice, and also seems a bit anisy. Cloudy dark orange colour. Very small light orange coloured head. OK bitterness. Watery finish. One-dimensional but innovative and OK.

Turbid brown. Definte rosemary aroma and taste, but it’s also a bit ’mouldy’. Then again I was towards the yeastier end of the bottle. Definitely had potential - the herbs were really tangy. yespr (6944), Copenhagen O, Denmark Mar 9, 2008 ZBF2008@RB table: From growler, thanks to Kölschtrinker. Pours hazy orange with a lacing white head. Very distinct spiced/herbal rosemarine aroma. Flavour is bitter and spiced. Too dominantly spiced. Ends like cleaning water. Too spiced for my liking, yet interesting!
