How: Tap at brewpub
The look: Cloudy orange body topped by a off-white ring of foam
In long: The pleasant nose has rye upfront with some leafy hops in the back. Rye is very apparent in this beer. Well malted beer. Taste of rye bread with its associated juiciness with a little spicy note. A little caramel but not much, the body is really rye bread wall to wall. The leafy hops suck away the juiciness of the beer leaving a nice plain rye bread finish. Smooth carbonation. If you like rye beer like I do, you will enjoy this beer. A very honest Rye beer. And honesty is what gives good results. Unless in a trial, then insanity may be a better defence.

Herbal, leafy hops team up with amiable rye flavors until a firm earthy hop bitterness clinches each sip.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam covers the hazy honeyed blond.
-As with all of their beers I’ve had, this is very drinkable, yet I would prefer a tad more refinement in the mouthfeel.
-The natural carbonation is rather low, but increases drinkability.
-Mild fruitiness peers through.
On tap at the brewpub.
