Glad to try Skip Madsen’s new offering. Deep copper pour, lightly hopped IPA by PacNW standards, slightly sweet, vegetal notes, perfectly drinkable but given the abundance of great local IPAs this one was overall disappointing in what the hops have to offer.

Nov 22, 2009 On tap at Collins Pub. Pours a yellow gold with minimal head. Fairly malty for an IPA, with lots of caramel taste finishing with bitter grapefruit. Aromas are faint caramel and citrus hop.

Nov 16, 2009 Tangerine, light frothy head. Refreshing citrus and floral hop mix with honeyed hop tendrils, requires light teasing from the glass. Well-stated hoppiness with easy complexity, nice balance between citrus and floral and solid bitterness with a somewhat sour finish. More bitter twangy as the experience lengthens.

Sep 24, 2009 On tap at several places around town. Had at Collins Pub, cloudy pale orange body with moderate head. Big hop aroma and great balance.
