oh6gdx (6460), Vaasa, Finland May 22, 2008 Canned. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is sweet malts, hops and mild notes of cardboard and even alcohol. Flavour is grainy, rubbery, metallic and quite harsh with some cardboardy hints. Quite harsch and very out of balance. DruncanVeasey (1814), No. 46, Leicestershire, Belgium Apr 29, 2008 Updated: May 4, 2008Because it was there and I hadn’t tried it before. The ’strong lager’ claim always made me think it was a beverage of the park bench variety. Nothing immediately offensive in the nose- faint wood, sweet malts/vegetables, sherbet. CO2 very apparent. Actually, it smells like dissolvable painkillers fizzing in Fairy Liquid. A hint of pine? Nah, I’m kidding myself. The flavour is pure regurgitated aspirin, bile, CARDBOARDY grain, rainwater out of a rusty tuna tin, cornflakey adjuncts. World-beating, irredeemably shit lager. Those bastards at Coors have single-handedly dragged my ’My beers Average’ down to 3.03. JayBaxter (358), Greater Manchester, Greater Manchester, England Apr 8, 2007 Strong lager my arse ! This stuff is weak, watery, bland, tasteless, boring etc etc - a total waste of your hard earned £££s. A lager for the mass market.....and WTF with that previous rating. Jordi (2), Southport, England does not count Jan 10, 2007 Brilliant Stuff - been drinking it since it first came out ! I’m now 60 and its the only beer i drink at Home. Coords Should promote it more !!!
