On tap. Slightly hazy yellow with a white head. Very malty nose with a whiff of yeast. Quite full-bodied, lots of malt, fruit and some yeast. Somewhat astringent and alcoholic finish. 080709

Draft. Light amber beer with a whitish head. Light malt and light grapefruit aroma - aroma not very strong. Caramel, grapefruit, and light pine flavor with light tropical/summer fruits. Medium-plus bodied. Good bitterness. Caramel and grapefruit lingers with light summer/tropical fruit.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours almost clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Light fruity hops aroma. Flavour is sweet andfruity hoppy. Light warming spiced sensation. Bitter and fruity flavoured finish.

Pour from the tap in a small 10 oz. glass. Golden in color with a small white head. Smells of sweet citrus and some bitter hops. Medium plus body with some honey like qualities and good strong bitterness. Alcohol present but not over powering. Easy to drink. Finish is a bit on the sweeter side. Very tasty.

Clear gold/yellow pour, white head. Floral flavors, grain, pine, citrus, light fruit, honey, and a hint of spice. Moderately bitter.

Sampler at Breakwater. Pours golden, thick white head, with lasting head. Aroma, piney hops Taste, superbly hoppy, pine, light fruits, with light bitter finish and a tad spices. Love the use of hops in DIPA and the hops are there but just ruining the whole palate. @ 9.4% this was easy to drink and amazingly tasty.

definitely not what I would expect for an Imperial version of a Pale: cloudy gold-yellow body with average white head and little lacing; lots of floral, sweeter than expected, yeasty, ... the hops are really hiding in this one or really not there, along with the alcohol, but the alcohol is definitely there; good, but not great--maybe if it was re-branded into something else or at least more hop-centric?
