Aug 7, 2008 Draft at the brewpub. A deep brown beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet and very nutty combined with a light note of alcohol, leading to a dry nutty and bitter finish.

Sep 7, 2009 Bottled at Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm. almost clear copper colour, fairly rich head. Resiny nose with caramel underneath. Toffe and cardboard simmers in molasses. Sweet with resiny hops and solid body. Warming, sure, but also rough and sketchy.

Bronze coloured. A little rich and sweet on the palate. Fruity with some bitterness in a crisp and dry malt finish.
2. Cask Stillage from the Jug at the GABF, Colorado Convention Center 26/09/2009
Pine hop aroma. Bronze coloured hoppy and smooth on the palate with a pine fruit flavour. Crisp and bitter lasting malt finish.

Sep 19, 2007 On tap. Poured a deeper amber/copper color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of citrus, caramel, and floral. Tastes of caramel, citrus, toffee, and some pine. Nice an hoppy!

May 27, 2007 (Draught, Flying Saucer - Addison) Pours a dark amber body with a small off-white head. Aroma of caramel, nuts, and some fruitiness. Flavor of toasted malt, caramel, hops, and a hint of wild strawberry in the finish.

Apr 25, 2008 Bottle thanks to ChainGangGuy: Pours a transparent mahogany brown with a thin, finely-lacing off-white head. Aroma of sweet doughy, bready malts and some earthy piny English hops. Body starts fairly full with a decent sweetness and mildly citrusy bittering hoppy bite. Finishes crisp and bittersweet with a lingering drier bitterness. A pretty nice ESB.

Sep 23, 2008 12 oz bottle-pours an off white ring for a head and copper color. Aroma is coppery/pine hops, secondary medium malt-caramel. Taste is coppery/pine hops (English) , secondary medium malt-caramel/peat. Dry finish. OK carbonation.
