Commercial Description:
Hoppy? Brother, 471 redefines hoppy. 471 is a small batch, limited edition ale that was created by our Brewmaster to separate the weak from the strong. 471 is a double IPA, that combines Pale, Munich, Caramel-30, Carapils and Torrified Wheat malts, with Chinook, Centennial, Simcoe and Fuggles hops. It has a big sweet mouthfeel, followed by more hoppiness than you've ever had at one time. Enjoy. (Available at Breckenridge Pubs and Restaurants and bottled as 471 Small Batch Double Hopped IPA.)

This is just a good, solid beer. Pours a nice clear copper color with a two-finger head. Picked up a nice amount of hops mixed with pine. Flavors of orange citrus and a nice hoppy finish with medium carbonation. This beer is not earth-shattering but its quality lies in its being so well balanced. Extremely drinkable and can hardly notice the 9.2% ABV. Definitely getting this again.

Bottle, courtesy Tony at Oldsmar Tap House. Pours a hazy mango color, with a fizzy white head, wet lacing. Aromas of dried fruits, caramel, smooth hops. Flavor is caramel, some banana, big on hops. Crisp, smooth, and this one feels slightly aged. Still decent to drink though.

12oz bottle. Pours a clear amber with an off-white head which lingered to create lacing. The smell is big on pine and citrus hops. Taste is pine and citrus hops with some caramel and biscuit hops. Mouthfeel is medium and sweet with a crisp hop bite and bitter aftertaste. Very nice!

Bottle. Definitely hoppy and definitely bitter. When it comes to doubles this one is just lacking too much in the flavor department. Dry and bitter throughout, some citrus and some juicy fruits, but dominated be lack of character and balance. Just ok.

Bottle. Wonderfully rich & hoppy IPA. Not bitterly sweet and yet very full in flavor... best enjoyed slowly with burgers, spicy dumplings, grilled chicken, or just sitting round at home.

22oz bomber into a tulip. Hazey golden pour with a strong head and decent lacing. Nose is floral and earthen with a hint of roasted malt. Taste starts out as sweet malt but rapidly evolves into a crisp bitterness. Mouthfeel is superb. Finish is redolent of hops and lasts a good long while. Alcohol content is well hidden.
