Commercial Description:
Hoppy? Brother, 471 redefines hoppy. 471 is a small batch, limited edition ale that was created by our Brewmaster to separate the weak from the strong. 471 is a double IPA, that combines Pale, Munich, Caramel-30, Carapils and Torrified Wheat malts, with Chinook, Centennial, Simcoe and Fuggles hops. It has a big sweet mouthfeel, followed by more hoppiness than you've ever had at one time. Enjoy. (Available at Breckenridge Pubs and Restaurants and bottled as 471 Small Batch Double Hopped IPA.)

Hazy orange colour with an off white head. Hoppy fruity and light piney aroma with some grassy and caramel sweet notes. Hoppy, fruity and piney bitter flavor with a sweet note and hints of flower.

Smaller Head. Not very hazy. Very hoppy. Very drinkable strong IPA. Not too overpowering. Really like the after taste. I would buy this one again. Stronger to me then the Steelhead Double IPA

Pours a big off white head, and it smells great. Nice dark orange in color, smells of citrus! If you’ve ever taken a bite of an orange ,or grape fruit this is very similar. Nice long hoppy flavor with a finish that lasts forever. This is a big people drink!

Nice snappy Double IPA with a kick. Very drinkable . Citrusy nose with the obvious fresh hops mixer. The tongue is wonderfully bitter. The plus is the sweet malt that keeps the hops pleasantly up front but not oppressive. Great beer.

pours amber in color with minimum head and lacing, citrus hop aroma, flavor is mostly citrus hops overpowering any malt profile, alcohol is evident and is a great painkiller for the 55 and over softball players!

The sweetness is apparent but pleasantly so. It rides this baby out to the very end, finally giving way to a hops bonanza. A very bitter very long finish ensues. This brew was the hop bomb that I was hoping it to be. A solid representation of the style. Great brew.

Bottle: Clear copper pour with a thick off-white head. Heavy citrus and caramel in the nose. Taste... well, this mutha was hot! Heavy floral bitters. Light citrus. Overall a bit soapy, but very intense in the floral bitter dept. Thanks Matt.

Bottle pours out amber topped with a off white head. Aroma of malts and floral hops. Tast of tough grapefruit. Plenty bitterness on the top and end. Not bad. thanks Pinkzambia
