| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jun 4, 2007 Appearance: Pours a honeyish golden-amber body with an enormously foamy yellowish head with some of the thickest lacing I’ve witnessed in ages.
Smell: Fresh orange peels provide an unmistakable oily, juicy fruitiness to make for a rather enticing aroma. Also some toffee and spruce notes.
Taste: Pleasantly sweet, biscuity malt base and a light, leafy grapefruit flavor start things off. The taste moves into a nearly unceasingly orange zestiness before finishing with a piney, bitter finish. I must say, though, the alcohol is skillfully hidden.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied, with an oily, resinous texture.
Drinkability: Matchless quaffability here, folks. Its almost hard to verbally express that. MrChris (110), Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jun 3, 2007 My 100th brew review! I learned a lot about beer styles, regional micro brewing; but mostly about taste. Sweet, well hopped and citrusy nose. Pours golden yellow with a foamy white head. Good carbonation. Sweet hoppy, (did I say sweet?) flavor. Bitter long dry ending. Somewhat suripy mouth feel. Not as crisp as I’d imagine. This is defiantly an ale. I love IPAs almost as much as I like porters and stouts. I like this IPA because of its balance of character in hoppiness, bitter dry ending and palate. stegosaurus (1882), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 2, 2007 Bottle sampled. Pours light amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of fruit, caramel malts, and citrusy hops. The flavor is smooth, sweet caramel, fruit, and a dry citrusy finish. Good brew. Ty5592 (1015), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA

Clear orange/apricot color with small head. Fruity hop aroma. Smooth juciy hop flavors. Rich body with slightly sweet finish. This is a very nice beer. Magjayran (1379), Durham, North Carolina, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 1, 2007 Interesting product here. Pours deep orange/amber color with very little head. Aroma is very peachy with a bit of pineapple. This one does not blow you away with bitterness but does achieve success by giving you a pleasant strong beer with a nice fruity flavor. agl108 (511), Manayunk, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 26, 2007 12 oz. bottle at Flat Rock Saloon. Poured copper with egg colored head. Piney, citrusy nose. Ridiculously bitter flavor and lingering finish. I prefer my IIPA’s smoother and more drinkable than this offering. topherh (940), Kearney, Missouri, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 24, 2007 22 oz bottle pours a clear amber with a thin off white head that quickly diminishes. Aroma of malt and lots of hops. Taste is not quite what was expected. A little too sweet and malty for this hophead. Not that hops were lacking; just not quite balanced.
