| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 9, 2007 22 Bottle: Aroma is lighter hopped than I’m used to in a Imperial IPA. Grapefruit, spices, decent hops scents. Appearance is a amber/orange clear color with a big rocky white head that lasts. Flavor is definate decent hop characteristics with the usual Imperial IPA bells and whistles. Overall, It’s not going to blow you away Double IPA, but its definitely a good brew. Not stellar but it will need a revisit. Abel (13), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 9, 2007 Nice orange color with a long lasting white head. Very hoppy aroma. The flavor was quite smokey, which I quite enjoyed. Pretty standard hoppiness aside from that. Mrthirstyneck (341), Minnesota, USA

Great DIPA excellent cloudy orange in color. MASSIVE thick white head and extreme lacing. aroma was sweet and piney just magical. Although i prefer single IPA’s due to the more unrefined HOPP BURN. though this might be my fav DIPA next to GD hercules. with a bit more HOP BURN id really love this but as is a great DIPA very strong grapefruit bitternes that lasts LONG and strong on the palate. GREAT BEER BOYS! OH also the 9.2 abv is no where in the taste again NICE JOB troyc (1175), Lubbock, Texas, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 27, 2007 (Bottle) Pours an amber color with an off-white head. Aroma of hops and some sweet citrus. Taste is similar, but not as hoppy as I expected. The mouthfeel was pretty good. This beer is good, but could have been better with a couple of small changes. theisti (1671), Leawood, Kansas, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 26, 2007 Bottle. Pour is a hazy, sunset orange. Aroma is hop, with some lemons and limes. Taste is quite a bit of hop, though not really in a traditional IPA taste. Almost tasted like a big hopped APA to me. Regardless, nice beer that was well put together. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Mar 24, 2007 Hazy orangey with an initial foamy head. Orange citrus aroma and taste. Quite smooth, and decent mouthfeel. Well malted for its true style. Satisfying, with 9.2% well hidden. Good mouthfeel and carbonation.

Very tasty malts and seemed (to me) to be a little bit lighter on the hops than I expected. Especially loved the painted bottle!
