Has a hoppy, citrus aroma Taste was malt, hops, citrus and bitter. Refreshing finish. Very good beer. Can’t wait to try another small batch brew from Breckenridge. xShanex (47), Mansfield, Texas, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 21, 2009 The aroma is right to style with lots of hops and lots of sweet malt to balance. The hops are both citrusy and piny while the malt adds a bit of caramel. The head is large for the style with an amber/gold color. The flavor is like the aroma and both very bitter and very sweet. The palate is average for the style. The finish is metallic. Despite having quite an aroma this beer just doesn’t seem to taste that great. Kenbeer30 (41), Texas, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 18, 2009 12 oz bottle. WOW !!! They weren’t kidding about the torrent of hops in the finish. Poured into my favorite shaker glass. forms a great 2 finger head that persists and laces. Nose is huge hops, piney, floral, bitter... yummy goodness. Tastes of sweet bread in the very front, then the hops pound in. Very floral, citrus and spice. Mouthfeel is odd, but in a good way. This beer kind of coats the mouth (thin oil?) and allows the flavor to remain. Fantastic offering. Will be on heavy rotation in my beer fridge. Birdiebeagle (788), Perkasie, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Apr 14, 2009 Bottle Pours a hazy goldenrod with an average off white head. The head last well and makes for some decent lacing. Nice hoppy aroma of spruce and so hints of sweetness. A little stale vanilla. Has a light carbination and a good mouthfeel. An oily texture. A medium body. This is blended very well. Good light hoppy flavor with much bitterness. The alcohol is very hidden. No burn at all. Has a good crispness to with a good solid finish. I like this one a lot. kiefdog (1605), Tampa, Florida, USA

| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Apr 12, 2009 12 oz. bottle from Grape and Gourmet. Big aroma of pine and citrus. Color is lighter than most IIPAs. Tangerine flavor is very present. Very satisfying bitter finish. Great IIPA and easily the best offering from this brewery I have tasted. randolphjj (98), Raymore, Missouri, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Apr 11, 2009 I do like this one. I’m a fan of the hops anyway, but this is a crisp citrus nose and you know you’re getting the recommended daily allowance of hops in every mouthful. But the malt really comes through too, rounding it all out nicely. Good grapefruitty punch in the tongue when you need one.
