Ansset13 (121), Wilmington, North Carolina, USA Nov 6, 2007 The pour is mildly hazy and light burnt umber in hue. Decent head that slowly recedes. The nose is citrus, hops and a touch of sweetness, that is almost floral. The taste is refined but some what ligher that the nose would have you expect. A little weak on the hops considering this is a double hopped IPA. All and all a decent brew, but there are many on the market around the same price I would try again before this one.
Homer321 (69), Rockledge, Florida, USA Aug 21, 2008 poured from a 22oz bomber. citrus in the nose from the hops. smell and taste are more on the hoppu than malty side, but in decent balance. hazy light copper with decent lacing. when I taste this beer I get a slight burning sensation in my nose, like pool water chlorine. Overall a nice IPA, but I would prefer my Bell’s. dpjuart (549), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 19, 2008 Draft sample at Breckenridge at the Ballpark, Denver, CO on 8/12/08. Pours orange with white head. Nose is pine, grapefruit, resiny sugary caramel. Taste is caramel and moderate bitter with pine and grapefruit hop flavors. Not bad. BuckyBazoo (23), Charlotte, North Carolina, USA Aug 19, 2008 Sweet for an IPA. Poured light amber with a medium cream head. Very palatable with a floral mid and finish. Definitely a brew worth going back to! jmm635 (45), Wynnewood, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 16, 2008 Clear, light amber color with a decent head that receded quickly. Aroma was very strong on the floral hops and had a slight hint of smoke. I thought the taste was way too strong with the floral flavor. I felt like I was drinking potpourri. BeerBaron617 (108), Novi, Michigan, USA Aug 15, 2008 So, I picked this up as part of my random six pack, completely at random, and I am so glad I did! This pours a medium hazy orange with an offwhite head. The aroma is almost like sugary hops with some piney notes. The flavor follows obediently with initial notes of citrus and a sweet finish. Fantastic 1st impression from Breckenridge.
