SudsMcDuff (1691), was CapeTown,SA-now Houston, Texas, USA Aug 25, 2008 hmmm, this was actually one heck of a surprise ... has some nice refreshing flavours ... an enjoyable mouthfeel ... pours a dusty orange colour ... low head 4 a wheat ... pretty well balanced ... it is abit thin ... this is a beach beer... can’t really detect anything different in this brew... patrick767 (2016), fort wayne, Indiana, USA Aug 24, 2008 bottle - Pours hazy gold with a one finger, quickly fading head. The aroma is mainly wheat malt and some yeast. The flavor is sweet wheat, a touch of citrus, and what I guess is the agave. It’s light bodied and has a mild, dry finish. Not bad... the agave is kind of interesting, but the result is nothing special...
TheBeerOrg (1563), Kentucky, USA Aug 18, 2008 Pours cloudy light golden with a mostly receding wispy white head. Aroma of agave, citrus, coriander. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with lively carbonation. Not impressed. Dogbrick (2807), Columbus, Ohio, USA Aug 15, 2008 Bottle shared by B-ill, so I can thank him for now knowing what agave tastes like. The beer pours an unufiltered-looking golden color with a thin and soapy white head that dissipates quickly. Wheat and agave in the nose. Light-bodied with a citrusy character and wheat and spice in the background. The finish is clean and fruity with a sweet honey aftertaste. I would probably have this over tequila but that is not saying a lot. bigbish (137), Colorado, USA Aug 11, 2008 Hazy orange color, thin white head. Light carbonation. Aroma is of grain. Flavor is light an drinkable. The agave is barely there, way in the background. The flavor is nice. I could drink a lot, but not the best wheat ever. Gregis (1132), Shawnee, Kansas, USA Aug 4, 2008 Pours a hazy gold with a finger of fluffy white head and plenty of suspended fine sediment. The aroma is a big round hit of wheat malt backed by lighter notes of herbs and faint sugar. I’ve never smelled pure/raw agave, but this doesn’t smell remotely like any tequila that I’ve sampled. Light-bodied and wheaty-soft with a mildly sour finish. Sweet wheat malt with a fruity herbal and citric character that makes me think of a subtle alcopop. It’s fairly refreshing and certainly different, but it doesn’t really do a whole lot for me. soyorganic (217), Denver, Colorado, USA Aug 1, 2008 Cool looking bottle... pours light orange color with a small quickly dissipating head. There is something in the aroma is that agave? I don’t know. Has a wheat taste with also agave? Nor do I know what it tastes like. Heavy carbonation, not a bad beer and very drinkable but it leaves me to want to have a dark, thick and sweet beer or something with distinct characteristics. BlackDonald (1127), Boise, Idaho, USA Jul 31, 2008 Pours a very delicate hazy orange, very cloudy with a small frothy white head. Wheaty cereal grain nose. Very light and extremely drinkable. The agave is barely detectable, but lies in the background with just the slightest hint of guava. Overall very drinkable with hints of banana, but not overly complex.
