Commercial Description:
This true American-style unfiltered wheat has something a little special – the nectar of the great Salmiana Agave. Agave complements the refreshingly light quality of our wheat and adds a subtle note of flavor that expands this beer’s uplifting taste profile. It is familiar, yet creative.

Pours a hazy gold with a finger of fluffy white head and plenty of suspended fine sediment. The aroma is a big round hit of wheat malt backed by lighter notes of herbs and faint sugar. I’ve never smelled pure/raw agave, but this doesn’t smell remotely like any tequila that I’ve sampled. Light-bodied and wheaty-soft with a mildly sour finish. Sweet wheat malt with a fruity herbal and citric character that makes me think of a subtle alcopop. It’s fairly refreshing and certainly different, but it doesn’t really do a whole lot for me.

Cool looking bottle... pours light orange color with a small quickly dissipating head. There is something in the aroma is that agave? I don’t know. Has a wheat taste with also agave? Nor do I know what it tastes like. Heavy carbonation, not a bad beer and very drinkable but it leaves me to want to have a dark, thick and sweet beer or something with distinct characteristics.

Pours a very delicate hazy orange, very cloudy with a small frothy white head. Wheaty cereal grain nose. Very light and extremely drinkable. The agave is barely detectable, but lies in the background with just the slightest hint of guava. Overall very drinkable with hints of banana, but not overly complex.

Bottle. Pours hazy corn gold, thin off white head. Aroma is malt and ketchup. Flavor is the same and slightly funky. Just enough tangy funk not to make this revolting.

Of all of the fruit infused wheat beers I’ve tried (i.e.: Purple Haze, Cherry Wheat), this is my favorite. Pours a slightly (but not completely) hazy orange/straw color with a small white head. Aroma is yeast, earth, and something extra... spice maybe. The flavor is pretty unique... yeast and spice from the wheat beer, but, what I guess is the agave flavor, is there too. Dry, tangy, and with a little bit of citrus. Bonus points for creativity and the sweet logo on the label. 12 oz. bottle.

12 oz bottle. Pours a cloudy light yellow color with a very fine white head that doesn’t last very long. Aroma is of light citrus and a hint of agave and even notes of lime and a wheat twang. It is a bit of an odd combination, but not unappealing. It is almost like you can predict what this beer will taste like just by thinking about it for a second. Agave=tequila. Wheat=wheat. Take a light refreshing wheat beer and add a slight hint of agave nectar (used to make tequila) and there ya go. It is a solid breezy wheat beer up front and then on the finish you get a bit of an agave/tequila taste. Don’t think Tequiza. This is nothing like that garbage. It just has a slight kiss of agave flavor in the aftertaste to give it a nice complexity.

12 oz bottle purchased at Metcalf Discount on 91st Street in OP, KS. Pour is slighlty hazed straw golden with a firm 2 inch white head. As the head slowly retreats, leaves behind nice lacing. Aroma of musty wheat and floral perfume. Also some vegetable quality, I’ll assume that is the Agave. Slight twinge of chemical sour towards the very back. Unique nose for certain. The taste is wheat primarily, with a grassy hay earthiness leading to the Agave flavor towards the finish. Some tart lemon citrus is present as well. Flavors are nicely integrated, and this builds up to a satisfying beer. Palate is mouth coating without being heavy. Interesting idea well executed.

OVerall a fairly decent brew, tastey but looked rather dull. pours a cloudy, orangeish body with a full creamy white head. plenty of sediment in the bottom of the bottle. aroma is sweet of wheat, nectar and peaches. taste is pleasent, the only dissapointment was i expected more, but it was just like a regular american style hef. flavors are semi sweet, and not overly rich.
