Commercial Description:
This true American-style unfiltered wheat has something a little special – the nectar of the great Salmiana Agave. Agave complements the refreshingly light quality of our wheat and adds a subtle note of flavor that expands this beer’s uplifting taste profile. It is familiar, yet creative.

Although I didn’t notice even a hint on an aroma, it was a nice looking beer in the glass: misty pale golden color with lots going on in the glass. Taste was relatively simple, but refreshing. The strangest thing about this beer is that even after having drank an entire 6-pack I have still have no idea what ’agave’ tastes like. If ’agave’ is in this beer, it is pretty darn faint. Enjoy, but don’t expect to be impressed.

The bottle pours hazy apricot color with orange hued tan foam. Smells citrusy and grassy with slight alcohol notes. Sweet flavor, tastes like candied pineapple, with earthy citrus rind bitterness. Medium bodied with adequate carb. I think it’s a great summer session brew. And I really dig the dia de los muertos type label.

Pours a hazy golden color with some reddish brown tinge. Small soapy white head. Nose is wheat, corn, and a bit of mexican beer. Taste is pretty harsh and astringent and somewhat off and salty. Also kind of burnt. I was not a fan.

Citrus flavor is there. Head is fluffy and light in color. Color is a hazy. I saw the Agave and thought tequila but wasn’t expecting that flavor and was happy with the wheat beer brewed with it. Worth trying.

Dark golden......very hazy......opaque. Thin, though fluffy head. Bold aroma of citrus. Somewhat of a sweet malt taste in the front......smooth mouthfeel for the style. Very tart, citrus flavor moves in quickly, and dominates the back......finishes dry.

Hazy light yellow-orange body, thin off-white head. Light tart, grassy nose with hay and dry bready malts in addition to a hint of lemon. Grassy, tart, lemony body, light, and refreshing. Sharp carbonation. Nothing too crazy here.

Beautiful, lemon, orange, cloudy appearance. 1 inch pure white head. Aroma of spice, and wheat. Strong wheat germ flavor, only a little sweet. Flavor is a little spritzy, very much wheat, and citrus, with some plant stem. Mouthfeel is carbonated and bright. Goes down a little sharp., that must be the agave nectar.

This wheat beer pours a slightly pinkish yellow gold color. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is wheaty, fruity and sweet. A medium bodied wheat. The malts are cereal and grain, with a distinct fruitiness. The agave flavor is in the background, it definitely is there, but is more in the background. The hops are slightly spicy. Nice carbonation. Interesting beer, very drinkable summer ale. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
