Aromas of wheat, agave (I’m assuming), honey comb, a little ’sweaty’, and light citrus. Tastes of wheat, honey, and lemons. Wheat was more pronounced in the aromas. Thinner body. | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | May 23, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours a hazy yellow orange with a medium white head that retains pretty well and laces the glass.
The aroma is lemoney fruit (agave?) and wheat.
The flavor is pretty bland - a little acidic fruit and some metallic malts. It improves some as it warms. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and watery.
Overall, this is not so good. FCB’s Major Tom’s is a much better beer in this style. docswife (27), Morganfield, Kentucky, USA

| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | May 23, 2008 It wasn’t entirely undrinkable but it wasn’t very good either. Pours hazy yellow. Aroma of wheat and yeast. Taste is of wheat and some indescribable off taste ( I assume the agave). No need for me to every drink this again. FROTHINGSLOSH (1986), GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 23, 2008 Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy bright golden color with a very large yellow-white head. The aroma was tangy, sour and tart with a hint of lime. The flavor was tangy and very tart with notes of lime and agave. The finish was tangy, sour and odd. Odd but not entirely in a bad way. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | May 18, 2008 Pours a cloudy orange with a light beige head. Aroma of fruit, spice, and clove. Taste is also fruity, very wheat, and spiced. Finish is dry and a little bitter. Not really a pure wheat beer, but a nice beer nonetheless. biz82 (1328), austin, Texas, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 17, 2008 Opaque and buff in color with a frothy but quick head. Doughy wheat aroma with a hint of sour fruit. Thick in body but low in carbonation. Dull wheat flavor with a gritty finish. Has a mellow tangy note but not much else in the way of agave. vyvvy (2034), Hazelwood, Missouri, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 13, 2008 Well, it looks like my fellow Missourian, thegreenroster, felt differently about this beer than me. This was a pleasant surprise from this brewery. Pours hazy orange with a light off-white head. The aroma is fairly fruity and dry with some spice and a cactus aspect. The body is fairly crisp and medium bodied with clean spritzy carbonation. The taste starts with dry wheat, something I’m not used to (probably agave) and pepper. The finish brings out the cactus aspect from the aroma and hints of star fruit. This is significantly better than anticipated & a fine summer beer.
