Sweet malts is all i can come up with and that is a guess. Flavor is not much better but there is some bitter citrus and not much else. I don’t know what agave tastes like other than tequila but i don’t taste any in here. Pretty bland and boring even for this brewer. jstraw (758), Chicago, Illinois, USA

| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | May 11, 2008 This beer is very clear. If this is wheat ale I am confused. There needs to be a bit more of a opaque to translucent appearance. The head fades away too fast. There is a bit of a sweet smell in the aroma, but I am unable to pinpoint what it actually is. I think the aroma is very weak and dull. Not creamy enough to be a wheat ale. There is a continuing sweet flavor throughout the beer. I think it is the agave juice or flavor that they have added to the beer. I think this is a valid approach towards a wheat ale, but they should have stuck more towards the traditional approach with their own nuances. The agave juice is not a bad idea, but I think the brewer needs to be a bit more cognizant towards what he is trying to approach. A fellow drinker said he thinks this beer is rather sour, and I could not agree more. Overall, a bad version of a wheat, but they tried. They tried to make this a wheat beer, but I think it is closer to a sweet lager. CaptainCougar (5420), Rockville, Maryland, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 11, 2008 Pours a slightly hazy bright golden with a spotty-lacing white head. Aroma of lightly pale semi-sweet malts. Body starts with an average viscosity and mild pale malty sweetness with a touch of grain and light agave character. Finishes drier and more bitter, but overall, pretty bland. shp555 (1681), Atlanta, Georgia, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 7, 2008 Draft. LAbeled as Agave Nectar Heffe at local bar. Poured a cloudy orange body with thin head. Aroma was very faint and I could barely get anything out of it, I guess that’s better than it smelling bad. Taste was bitter citrus - orange, lemon; noticable wheat character with light fruit. Slight;y dry but very smooth with a nice mouthfeel. jeffwilliams11 (310), hooterville, Michigan, USA
