1010 (206), Marysville, Ohio, USA Sep 17, 2009 Pours a golden hue with a white head. Does not taste much like a wheat beer because its more flowery.
12 oz. bottle JK (2945), Richfield, Minnesota, USA Sep 6, 2009 A good looking wheat beer. Opaque orange with lots of yeast and protein. Slightly acidic aroma, with yeast and wheat. Surprisingly sour flavor, with wheat and some bubblegum, more yeast, and definitely a vegetable character that I will call agave. It drinks pretty good, and is best very cold. thedm (3833), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Aug 25, 2009 This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a hazy typically carbonated light yellow-orange colored body. The mild aroma was bready and dough. The crisp and clean mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The nice flavor contained notes of bread dough and mild hops. A decent one that I would consider buying again. DJMonarch (6036), Northwich, Cheshire, England Aug 21, 2009 Sampler at the Breckenridge Brewery 2220 Blake Street, Denver 08/10/2008
Floral aroma. Golden coloured and hazy in appearance with a crisp dry and slightly bitter wheat finish. drowland (1360), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Aug 16, 2009 Nothing too flattering here and overly sweet. Other agaves are way better - or just have some tequila! b33r (363), Cleveland, Ohio, USA Aug 9, 2009 Nice refreshing wheat beer with good flavor. Interesting different flavor made it okay fivehoursfree (11), Texas, USA Aug 2, 2009 I had high hopes for this. It really has a bland flavor. I think the hops overwhelm the agave. It looks good, and is easy to drink, but so is Keystone. For those homebrewers out there, Austin HomeBrew supply has a Agave Wheat Kit that is waay better. bblack99 (195), Kansas City, Missouri, USA Aug 2, 2009 Wow, this was a swing and a miss! Smells like Budweiser, tastes like Busch Light.
Truly, the aroma is very much that of a big-chain american lager, with the smell of rice filler rather than wheat (see Boulevard for wheat done right).
Pours a hazy straw color with a bright white bubbly head. There’s a touch of sweetness in the flavor from the agave nectar that almost comes through like clover honey. Very simple texture, smooth finish with soft carbonation.
