CanIHave4Beers (833), Des Moines, Iowa, USA Jul 30, 2009 This looks very nice in the glass very hazy yellow with a nice big fluffy white head and plenty of nice lace. Aroma is faint with some spicy notes and some banana. Flavor has some peach some odd herbal bitterness, the agave is faint but recognizable, overall it’s a little grainy. jbye4334 (652), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Jul 27, 2009 (bottle). Cloudy golden color. Medium white head which is mostly diminishing. Sweet wheat aroma. Wheat flavor with a light, lasting sweetness. Avg duration. Finish is Slightly bitter and astringent. Slick texture. Moderate carbonation. Good lacing. hopdoge (26), Colorado, USA Jul 26, 2009 (Bottle) Pours a cloudy, light yellow color with a small white head that diminshes quickly - fair lacing. Wheat and light orange aroma. Honey wheat flavor with hint of orange. Slick texture, soft carbonation, short duation, light sweet finish. kimcgolf (822), Dacula, Georgia, USA Jul 24, 2009 Poured to a dep orange red with thin white head that lingers awhile and leaves okay lacing. Nose is slightly hopped and fruity, mouthfeel is slightly tingly and taste is sour apples. Leads to a finish that is slightly bitter and short. Not too much to this one. 6ROW (243), corpus christi, Texas, USA Jul 23, 2009 orange pour with a small one finger white head.i get over ripe orange on the nose, taste starts very tart/sour and finnishes sweet. i like the idea but i’m not a big fan of the taste Pawola22 (676), Kansas City, Missouri, USA Jul 16, 2009 On tap at the Flying Saucer in KC. Pours a cloudy, orange body with an inch thick, dense foam, white head that dissipates at a moderate pace and leaves some decent lacing. Aroma is some sweeter and light wheat malts, bread, sweet oranges and tangerines, and slightly tart lemons. Flavor starts sweet and fruity with a light tartness before more wheat bread comes in. Finishes slightly juicy with a bit of a tart earth and lingering sweet wheats. Palate is medium bodied and smooth. Overall, a pretty tasty wheat with enough bright flavors to satisfy. Straightforward, but solid. SpudClampDawg (1027), Jasper, Indiana, USA Jul 14, 2009 12oz bottle: Pours a hazy gold with a fluffy white head that instantly disappears. Fruity, almost pineapple-ish nose, is light but enjoyable. The body is sorta spritzy for the style, definitely lacking any creamy wheat. More fruit - mostly peach, hits the palate first. Softer notes of overripe banana and vanilla play a nice secondary role. Not as impressive as I was hoping, since agave sounds great in a wheat in theory. xnoxhatex (1305), Grand Rapids/Chicago, Michigan, USA Jul 13, 2009 Bottle from Siciliano’s, I can’t believe I haven’t rated this yet. Slightly hazy orange with small to medium white head. Aroma is dry wheat and slight funk (like sewage) but not too off-putting. Flavor is medium sweet wheat, slight citrus, grain, chalky, not too bad. Medium and creamy. Not bad and in fact one of the better beers from Breckenridge.
