pantani (1894), Salinas, California, USA Oct 23, 2008 Bottle from Dad. Light foggy gold, white head. Aroma is wheat, light citrus, lime like not- No agave showing. Taste is wheat, light citrus, faint agave which adds an accent but not enough for me to put it in the name. It’s not bad, but nothing I would want when it’s cold outside. mj (4975), Colorado, USA Oct 23, 2008 What to say? Hazy golden body. Aroma and flavor of sweet lime and honey, filmy and oily texture, a little overdone but overall it’s smooth. chewy wheat throughout, medium to full body, almost chunky feeling at times. fresh, interesting, flavorful, maybe a little artificial, but it’s decent enough. Short rating, but there’s not much else to say. Wheat ale rating #100. Skinnyviking (4142), Copenhagen, Denmark Oct 20, 2008 Draught. Hazy orange body. Pearh oranges aroma. VEry bitter for a wheat beer. Could taste nothing else but bitterness. High carbonation. Lolng aftertaste. AgentSteve (1334), SF Bay Area, California, USA Oct 15, 2008 Bonus from Irishboy, pours foggy dark golden with a decent white head. The nose is sweet and bready malt. The flavor is about the same with a dry finish. blutt59 (2042), Dallas, Texas, USA Oct 11, 2008 bottle, yellow golden pour, foamy head that recedes to a soapy film, first sip has a strong bubble gum or candy flavor and finishes with bananas and cream hogan873 (317), Joliet, Illinois, USA Oct 10, 2008 Pale amber, semi-cloudy body with a thin white head. Very light aroma, but I can sense some yeast and sour fruit. Somewhat thin palate with good carbonation. Decent flavor. Malt, yeast, and sweet fruit up front (agave, I presume). Sour fruit at the end. Clean finish. A fair wheat beer. zombywoof (355), Shawnee, Kansas, USA Oct 8, 2008 Pours a pale amber color with a dissapating head. Minimal lacing. Aroma of cereal and yeast and a subtle sharp tang of orange. Tastes like a typical wheat with fruit notes that fall between cantalope and apricot-I assume that’s the agave. Hints of honey. Finishes dry and sour and seems a little light bodied. It’s Ok but not something I’ll make a habit of. Sandman2222 (42), Florida, USA Oct 4, 2008 I tried this for something different. It was not much more than a normal wheat beer. The brew had a little sweeter taste than most wheats, but it wasn’t too special.
