This was a pleasant surprise from this brewery. Pours hazy orange with a light off-white head. The aroma is fairly fruity and dry with some spice and a cactus aspect. The body is fairly crisp and medium bodied with clean spritzy carbonation. The taste starts with dry wheat, something I’m not used to (probably agave) and pepper. The finish brings out the cactus aspect from the aroma and hints of star fruit. This is significantly better than anticipated & a fine summer beer. patrick767 (2058), fort wayne, Indiana, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 24, 2008 bottle - Pours hazy gold with a one finger, quickly fading head. The aroma is mainly wheat malt and some yeast. The flavor is sweet wheat, a touch of citrus, and what I guess is the agave. It’s light bodied and has a mild, dry finish. Not bad... the agave is kind of interesting, but the result is nothing special...

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Apr 5, 2008 Not sure what agave tasteslike, the only thing I can associate with agave is the tequila. On the palate it is almost bitter, but is not. Weirdly interesting. Fading maltiness evolves.Provides a gunky wheat beer appearance from the stuff on the bottom of the bottle. Has a nice hazy puss colored hypnotizing view. Decent wheat. Not quite as ale-ish as I expected. FROTHINGSLOSH (2038), GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 23, 2008 Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy bright golden color with a very large yellow-white head. The aroma was tangy, sour and tart with a hint of lime. The flavor was tangy and very tart with notes of lime and agave. The finish was tangy, sour and odd. Odd but not entirely in a bad way. lb4lb (2011), Austin, Texas, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jul 13, 2008 Pours an odd semi hazy yellowish orange with a quickly fading white head. Smell is slightly sour almost funkiness, and wheat, with a bit of lemon in there as well. Flavor is extremely bland aside from the tartness that feels like a ton of lemon juice was squeezed into a regular lager. The agave gives it an odd mustiness, that I don’t particularly care for. Interesting, but not really good. A bit thin as well. sebletitje (2000), Tampa, Florida, USA

Surprising and interesting choice to see agave used with beer.
Agave is the primary ingredient in Tequila.
The beer pours golden with bright thin white head.
Aroma has plenty of wheat and refreshing agave juice. I got to try agave extracts a while back and the taste was well alive in the aroma.
Taste of wheat with sugary palate from the use of agave. Agave gives the beer a very interesting twist and approach.
Light bitter finish with an almost mead/honey like finish. mar (1973), Dallas, Texas, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 8, 2007 Nice cloudy look with a better than average head. Strong wheat smell and taste. You can taste the agave right away at the tip of the tounge but it quickly goes.
