Commercial Description:
This true American-style unfiltered wheat has something a little special – the nectar of the great Salmiana Agave. Agave complements the refreshingly light quality of our wheat and adds a subtle note of flavor that expands this beer’s uplifting taste profile. It is familiar, yet creative.

On-tap, served in a shaker glass. L: Unfiltered cloudy appearance, straw yellow in color with orange hues, fluffy white head that slowly settled into a thin sudsy skim, splotchy rings of lace follows the body down the glass, an attractive start for this wheat ale. S: Husky grains, toasted wheat and a light honey maple from the Salmiana Agave nectar, everything is framed by a citric lemony aroma. F&T: Malty moderate body, softly crisp, creamy feel in the mouth. Good wheat twang in the taste, provides a nice snap of toasted wheat to go with the lemony flavors. The agave nectar has more of a neutral sweetness than in the aroma, just a subtle sweet light colored honey taste. A delicate hop spiciness comes out in the end, adding to sprightly dry lemon honey, toasted grainy, bread yeasty finish. I thought this was a pretty enjoyable pale wheat ale, quite quaffable, I will have to pick up the bottle version sometime soon.

12oz bottle. Pours cloudy yellow with 1 inch head. Smells like ass - pretty bad. Watery, mild astringent and semi-sour. As time rolls on it’s not that bad though nothing special. The aroma just did me in from the get-go on this one.

pours a cloudy brown shade of yellow topped by a soft white head. yeasty aroma with lots of dry citrus, some wheat, earth and something vegetal. a light metallic like malty flavor is followed by some vegetal sweetness, wheat and a light citrus finish. it feels as if the flavor is a bit watered down. medium body with a watery texture and lively carbonation.

Bottle from Kegs & Barrels in Plano, TX. Pours a cloudy gold with white fizzy head, dissipated kinda quick. Aroma is citrus, kinda tangy. Flavor is kinda sour, citrus, some light wheat malt. Mouth feel is light-medium body with high carbonation. Overall, I’m not sure if this is an old bottle or not, but I find it tangy and refreshing for summer....I like it!!! But I like sour beers!!!

Rated 7.13.08. Pours a very murky light golden with a small soft white head. Sweet agave and wheat aroma. First taste is sweet agave, followed by some boring wheat and metallic flavors. I like the unique sweetness the agave adds, however, the rest is kinda like macro american keg beer. Medium, kinda chalky body with some light fizzy carbonation. . . . 5 3 5 3 10 . . . . . . . . Rerate 12.27.08. Who would have thought an accidental 6 months would help this beer hehe. Pours a cloudy homogeneous gold with no bubbles and a small dense creamy white froth. Light aroma of sweet agave juice, light honey and faint toasted wheat, pleasant. Soft flavors, the slight oxidation seems to have helped greatly. Tastes like pilsner malt, lightly grassy, sweet and tangy agave sugars, light honey wheat toastiness. Smooth crisp palate. . . . 6 4 6 3 12 . . . . . . .

Nice cloudy look with a better than average head. Strong wheat smell and taste. You can taste the agave right away at the tip of the tongue but it quickly goes.

Golden cloudy body with a small white head. Looks pretty much like a wheat. The aroma offers a bit of butter, lemon and wheat. Light effervescence on the tongue. Flavor is similar to aroma with just a hint of clove.

Agave flavor comes through more in a little tartness on the finish, wrapping up a very light wheat beginning. Totally forgettable.
