Poured a cloudy, dark golden color, with a short head which retreated quickly. no lacing whatsoever. Fairly traditional wheat flavor, with citrus and grass notes, while the agave initially presents a barely noticeable passion fruit-like flavor. As the beer goes down, a spice becomes present in the back of my throat, which I attribute to the agave.
The palate is thin and ever so slightly oily, with a mild carbonation buzz for the tongue. j12601 (1355), Poughkeepsie, New York, USA

Pours a cloudy brown apricot with a medium sized white head that dies off quickly. Smells sweet with honey, light floral notes, and a bit of musky grain that is a bit off putting. Nice mouthfeel, little bit of fruit, cardboard. Finishes up grainy with a bit of musk melon. aguyintx66 (78), Humble, Texas, USA

It looks good, and is easy to drink, but so is Keystone. For those homebrewers out there, Austin HomeBrew supply has a Agave Wheat Kit that is waay better. bigbish (141), Colorado, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 11, 2008 Hazy orange color, thin white head. Light carbonation. Aroma is of grain. Flavor is light an drinkable. The agave is barely there, way in the background. The flavor is nice. I could drink a lot, but not the best wheat ever. SpudClampDawg (1027), Jasper, Indiana, USA

Fruity, almost pineapple-ish nose, is light but enjoyable. The body is sorta spritzy for the style, definitely lacking any creamy wheat. More fruit - mostly peach, hits the palate first. Softer notes of overripe banana and vanilla play a nice secondary role. Not as impressive as I was hoping, since agave sounds great in a wheat in theory. troyc (1175), Lubbock, Texas, USA

Aroma is of wheat malt and biscuit. Not detecting much agave in the nose. Taste is a little more potent. Sour notes and light citrus hit your tongue first. Some grass and grain in the finish. In some ways it reminded me of a Berliner Weisse because of the sour wheat character of the beer. I just wish there were more robust wheat notes in here. Still a unique and somewhat refreshing brew. xnoxhatex (1305), Grand Rapids/Chicago, Michigan, USA

Slightly hazy orange with small to medium white head. Aroma is dry wheat and slight funk (like sewage) but not too off-putting. Flavor is medium sweet wheat, slight citrus, grain, chalky, not too bad. Medium and creamy. Not bad and in fact one of the better beers from Breckenridge.
