Commercial Description:
This true American-style unfiltered wheat has something a little special – the nectar of the great Salmiana Agave. Agave complements the refreshingly light quality of our wheat and adds a subtle note of flavor that expands this beer’s uplifting taste profile. It is familiar, yet creative.

Hazy light yellow-orange body, thin off-white head. Light tart, grassy nose with hay and dry bready malts in addition to a hint of lemon. Grassy, tart, lemony body, light, and refreshing. Sharp carbonation. Nothing too crazy here.

bottle - Pours hazy gold with a one finger, quickly fading head. The aroma is mainly wheat malt and some yeast. The flavor is sweet wheat, a touch of citrus, and what I guess is the agave. It’s light bodied and has a mild, dry finish. Not bad... the agave is kind of interesting, but the result is nothing special...

Tap at the Fort Worth Flying Saucer Octoberfest. Extremely cloudy pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma is very light, maybe a small amount of straw. Light palate with moderate carbonation. Lemony flavor with a dry finish.

Rated 7.13.08. Pours a very murky light golden with a small soft white head. Sweet agave and wheat aroma. First taste is sweet agave, followed by some boring wheat and metallic flavors. I like the unique sweetness the agave adds, however, the rest is kinda like macro american keg beer. Medium, kinda chalky body with some light fizzy carbonation. . . . 5 3 5 3 10 . . . . . . . . Rerate 12.27.08. Who would have thought an accidental 6 months would help this beer hehe. Pours a cloudy homogeneous gold with no bubbles and a small dense creamy white froth. Light aroma of sweet agave juice, light honey and faint toasted wheat, pleasant. Soft flavors, the slight oxidation seems to have helped greatly. Tastes like pilsner malt, lightly grassy, sweet and tangy agave sugars, light honey wheat toastiness. Smooth crisp palate. . . . 6 4 6 3 12 . . . . . . .

Pale amber, semi-cloudy body with a thin white head. Very light aroma, but I can sense some yeast and sour fruit. Somewhat thin palate with good carbonation. Decent flavor. Malt, yeast, and sweet fruit up front (agave, I presume). Sour fruit at the end. Clean finish. A fair wheat beer.

Pours like a standard unfiltered wheat ale. Slightly cloudy and golden with a foamy white head. Sweet malty wheat aroma. Sweet flavor too, with a touch of citrus and honey. Refreshing and good.

Nice cloudy look with a better than average head. Strong wheat smell and taste. You can taste the agave right away at the tip of the tounge but it quickly goes.

12 oz. Small, but lasting suds atop the cloudy, pear-orange body. Aroma is sour yeast, lemon juice, stale grain, and occasional banana popsicle. Mild flavor has dry wheat then mostly tart lemon-cherry, and a light citrus-banana aftertaste. Light-medium body is smooth, acidic-tingly and finishes nicely dry.
