Nutty toast nose. Deep dark brown color, small soapy head. Chocolate cola sweetness, decent balance. Medium bodied, good carbonation, finish is almost a little tart. Not fantastic, but enjoyable for its quirky quality.

pours a dark cola color with an orange-y tan head. smells a bit cheesy at first?... butterscotch, med roast, malt powder, coffee sourness, sweet fruit that i can’t identify (maybe raisins) and a touch of smoke. the flavor is malty with a light sourness, coffee, toasted nuts, wood, smoke and a touch of sweetness. it finishes dry and acidic. medium body is seemingly lighter from the acidity. carbonation is soft and builds up a bit in the mouth. decent and drinkable but... old ale?

12oz bottle. Pours deep dark brown with reddish tints. Light tan head. Aroma is caramel and chocolate malt. Flavor is caramel, nutty and chocolate malt. Body is light and a little watery. A little on the weak side for a fall seasonal. Not a bad beer just nothing great.

Pours a deep mahogony with a thin tan head. The aroma is pretty light. Caramel, chocolate, and malt are present. For such a dark beer, the palate is quite thin, a bit watery. This is a well balanced brew. Sweet and malty with chocolate and caramel up front. Finishes fairly smooth with a nice touch of Irish cream alcohol. No aftertaste. A good beer.

Poured from the bottle into a pint glass. Pour produced a dark, mahogony body, topped by an medium off-white head of foam. Aroma seems a bit off, a little skunky with some chocolate notes. Flavor is sweet, slightly watery, and well rounded, with bitter coffee notes and warm alcohol notes at the end. Overall, the beer is pretty good, and I am going to chalk up the nose to it either being an old beer (I bought it in the single bottle cooler) or a bad batch. Either way, I liked the initial flavor and the roasted palate.
