| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Aug 29, 2006 Ruby brown. Smooth, weighty texture was kind of nice. Toasty crackers, with hints of brown sugar sweetness. Warming alcohol. Healthy bitterness. I thought it was good, but it didn’t seem to have a lot of depth. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jan 23, 2007 Bottle #950. Pours a full, dense amber with a great head and intricate lacing. Aroma is bready grain, with a splash of smoke. Flavor follows suit but with a strawberr finish in place of the smoke. Full and coating mouthfeel. Not bad, but too bready tasting; definitely not worth $20.
