1 liter bottle labeled #856 out of 1,200. Poured a deep reddish / mahogany color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of nuts, caramel, toffee, roast, light chocolate and some orange peels. Malty. Tastes of carmel, citrus, and somewhat nutty. Not a bad beer, but not worth the price I paid for this bottle.

Head is initially small, fizzy, off-white, mostly diminishing. Body is medium to dark amber. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (toasted grain, husks), lightly hoppy (apricot). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, creamy texture, lively carbonation, lightly alcoholic. Rather plain, but it does has a pretty nice mouthfeel.

On tap @ Breckenridge on Kalamath poured a clear dark copper brown with a small lasting amber head. Aromas of toasted malt, carmel and toffee. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of carmel, toffee, and a hint of molasses with a smooth warming finish.

Pours maple brown with small off-white fizzy-foamy head that goes patchy pretty quickly. Aroma is caramel malt (cookie), perfumey hops, slightly grainy, brown sugar, fruit (pear, apple). Medium bitter and acidic, malty and husky, caramel fruitiness with perfumey alcohol at the end. Medium bodied, smooth palate that ends up dry.

Thanks to hopdog for sharing this bottle #856 of #1200. Pours a translucent ruby amber with an average bubbly/creamy off white head that left some lacing. Aroma of candy sweet citrus hops, sweet caramel malt, hints of some toffee and various fruits. Flavor was kind of bland and malty, some caramel sweetness, very light hops

Ruby brown. Smooth, weighty texture was kind of nice. Toasty crackers, with hints of brown sugar sweetness. Warming alcohol. Healthy bitterness. I thought it was good, but it didn’t seem to have a lot of depth.

Bottle #950. Pours a full, dense amber with a great head and intricate lacing. Aroma is bready grain, with a splash of smoke. Flavor follows suit but with a strawberr finish in place of the smoke. Full and coating mouthfeel. Not bad, but too bready tasting; definitely not worth $20.
