Pours a hazy orange-red color with a small, frothy off-white head, fair lacing. Aroma is sweet, pale malts, nuts, a touch of yeast, and light earthy hops. Flavor is caramel, apples, yeast, a hint of citrus and earthy hops. Mouthfeel is light to medium, dry, and bitter. Pretty drinkable beer. FunkyBrewster (462), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 24, 2009 Pours amber reddish brown with a creamy off white head. Aroma is very malty and creamy with mostly nuts and caramel. Some buttered toast notes too that were strange. Flavor starts sweet and malty with a bit more nuttiness. Quickly gets bitter and sharp mid-swallow. Finishes sharp and astringent with a harsh fruitiness and a lingering bitterness. Med body and a fizzy carbonation. Kind of reminds me of Fat Tire just worse. coldmeat23 (233), Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Nov 11, 2009 Light clear amber color. Good head, but dissipates rapidly. Leaves a very decent foam covering. Great lacing.
Smells sweet and malty. Almost like caramel. Definite earthy grain scent, also.
Caramely malts with dark fruits, like raisins and figs. Slight earthiness quality. Minimal hops bite, almost missed it.
This is a medium-bodied brew. Since I like a big bold-bodied brew, I find this to be way too light. Not enough carbonation to even get a creamy feeling.
If, at a social gathering, this was what was available to drink, I’d be alright with it. I just won’t be filling the fridge with it anytime soon.

Appearance: Clear amber color with a small, foamy, white head.
Aroma: A little bit of light caramel, honey, and some fruit notes.
Flavor: A bit light in the taste department with notes of caramel, pale malt sweetness, and not much else.
Palate: Medium carbonation with a medium mouthfeel and a medium-short finish.
Overall: A very forgettable Amber Ale. Not recommended. j12601 (1258), Poughkeepsie, New York, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 6, 2009 A decent amber ale. Nothing really stands out about this beer. That is both good and bad. It is drinkable but not necessarily memorable.
