Pour produced a clear amber body topped by a thick head of yellow-white foam. Aroma is difficult to pick out, though malts are dominant. Texture was watery, with a slick touch in the lips. Bittersweet in taste, there isn’t much else to this ale except a slight metallic aftertaste. Not offensive, though nothing to write home about either. ajm (947), Los Angeles, California, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Sep 3, 2008 A pointless drink as I never really tasted anything at all. Even the ambers I don’t like have some kind of malt character. This was like a tannish lager, except not even really hateable. Just there. Very odd. mcc5468 (103), USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 1, 2008 Medium amber color. Aroma is malty. Head disappeared quickly. Taste is caramel malts. Nothing great, nothing bad.

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 31, 2008 Pour is (drum roll please) amber with a foamy white head that goes quickly. Aroma and flavor are pretty much all malt, with just a hint of fruit and hops. Nicely carbonated and refreshing, just nothing to get excited about. Holdwine (908), Beertimore, Maryland, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 28, 2008 An okay amber, maybe it gets a igher rating for nostalgia. Fruity nose, mellow taste, easy to drink. smjohnst (203), , Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Aug 25, 2008 Thought this was an ok Amber. It didn’t have the weird aftertaste that alot of ambers seem to but it also didnt have a great look or overwhelming flavor. GAManiac (1184), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Aug 20, 2008 Pours a deep amberish copper with a small bubbly off-white head that dissipated to a ring fairly quickly, leaving almost no lacing. The aroma is a mix of generic grains and sweet bready malts. The taste was big on the sweet malts with a sourish, almost metallic finish. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with decent carbonation with the lingering sourness being a little off-putting. This is a fair amber, but not one that I would buy again. unclemattie (2430), Georgia, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 19, 2008 12oz bottle. Pours a sparkling copper/amber, thin white head. Aroma is a bit nutty, lots of bread. Fruity Breckenridge ale yeast bread smell. Flavor is a crisp bittereness with a bread malt. A light roast, light nut, and light caramel malt flavor notes. Very clean and refreshing. I could drink this beer every day. the perfect session. I wonder if this is a single hop beer, it seems so simple. So enjoyable.
