Not my fav. The appearance is amber with a small head. The flavor has nothing bad like the aroma. It’s only slightly sweet it’s mostly malty with some hops to balance. It does however have some of the buttery and nutty qualities. The palate is smooth. Overall I like it, I just dislike the aroma. mar (1903), Dallas, Texas, USA

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 23, 2008 12 oz. bottle pour to pint shaker. Slightly hazy nutty brown color with small tan head that quickly dissipates. Light lacing. Not much to the aroma with just a touch of nutty sweetness. Flavor is mild and unoffensive (backhanded compliment). Not bad for a session beer but there are much better choices available. redgold07 (308), Irving, Texas, USA

| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jun 20, 2008 Bottle. Amber color with an off white head. Aroma is offensive to the nostrils... amonia like, this might be a bad bottle. Taste is mildly sweet with a noble like bitter finish. Not that impressed. phishpond417 (1953), Madison, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jun 11, 2008 It was nice to finally get to try this one after waiting so long. Pours a copper colour with a sweet smelling head. a little nutty at time, but mostly what I tasted was oak- not sure why. Every taste was a like a taste of fresh Rocky Mountain air! Crisp, clean and a very smooth finish. CheersMate1 (800), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | May 29, 2008 I picked up this 22 ounce beer for $2.50. Not too bad of a price if you ask me. The beer has a very carbonated sound. Sounds like soda when you are pouring it. The beer has a nice caramel brown color to it. The head fading away fast kind of sucks, but the beer is average looking. Little toasted toffee and nuts with subtle hints of caramel. The toffee and nuts are very very subtle. Maybe I am mistaking the toffee, but I definitely smell the toasted nuts. This beer is fairly aromatic for receiving a very low score as it only listed in the 20th percentile. Kind of a funky caramel malt taste. The hops are barely noticeable. The flavoring hop is there, but the bittering hop is absent. The aroma hop is also absent. Very fizzy on the tongue. Slightly creamy with a carbonation bite at the end. Overall, for $2.50 not a bad beer. The beer lacks the great a smooth flavors that it could have. The aroma is pretty good, but the flavor doesn’t follow. VitaminR (438), Colorado, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 24, 2008 Metally nose, slight nutty sweetness. Deep rich amber color, small head that dissipated quickly. Slight nutmeg sweetness, very minimal bitterness. Good carbonation, finish is quick and unremarkable. Way better Ambers out there.
