Moderately sweet-to-neutral aroma and corresponding flavor. Medium body and finish; overall not bad but forgettable. FlyingSwine (170), Littleton, Colorado, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 8, 2008 Great looking beer. Pours a nice, cloudy amber with almost no head. Light, yet odd aroma that I can’t determine, that is also present in their Trademark Pale Ale. Flavor it also light and overly sweet, with almost none of the bittering indicated in their description. Mouth feel is average, but not unexpected in an amber. Overall its okay, but not a fridge stocker. hapjydeuce (773), Del Mar, California, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 24, 2007 On tap in Steamboat Springs, CO for a little apres ski relaxation. Nothing that impressive to note here. Transparent copper color, minimal white head that settles quickly. The aroma is extremely basic, pale malts, touch of caramel and cinnamon and not enough hops for me to care. Slightly bitter flavor, with light caramel...very one-dimensional. Crisp, though. Like Fat Tire, but spicier. Erdinger2003 (127), Ames, Iowa, USA
| 0.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 1/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 1/20 | Dec 23, 2007 Appearance is lacking head and lacing.
Smell is a little sour and off putting.
Taste is a little sour and unapealing, it does have a slight lager taste to it.
Mouthfeel is like water, this beer reminds me of a miller lite.
I will never drink this again. It tastes pretty watery and leaves no remnance of any beer-even lager.

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Dec 18, 2007 12oz bottle. Pours a very clear cinnamon color (orange-brown) with a thick, though very short-lived, off-white head that clings to the glass with lots of lace. The aroma is very mild - barely distinguishable traces of hops and yeast with a soft, bread-like maltiness that has a little caramel in the nose. The flavor is light and more sweet than hoppy. It has a light flavor of caramel and bread. There is also a good deal of nuttiness right in the front of the mouth. As the beer travels back, the maltiness fades into a watery wave that is lightly hopped, lightly malty, and lightly yeasty. The finish is full - though a bit watery considering its thickness. The mouthfeel is generally medium in body with light carbonation. Overall, a disappointing brew - very watery. More like Michelob’s Amber Bock than like a real Amber Ale... | 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Dec 16, 2007 Actually, this was pretty unpleasant. Clear gold, no head, swirling leaves no lace. No surprise when it turns out to be thin in the mouth. Nose is weak, with a hint of spoiled cheese. Taste is initially absent ... nothing there at all. Followed by a dry nutty taste ... hops but no malt or residual sugar. Then a hit of hops. Followed by a long taste of bile and stomach acid, with a finish of spoiled cheese. I won’t even use this one for steam in my vertical smoker. This is just nasty. Sewage. AR (437), Georgia, USA
