Aug 12, 2007 Earthy malty aroma. Color is pleasing autumn leaf gold fading to tan. Slightly frothy head. Light sweetness, average bitter, no sour or off notes. Finishes with respectable bitterness. Overall a good ale for a hot day, say, on the links or sitting around with old friends.

Aug 7, 2007 Faint aroma of spicy hops and caramel, color is amber/orange with a large frothy head. Overall flavor is minimal which can be typical of the style. Minimal bitterness and sweetness but balanced nicely. Overall a good amber but due to most of its competition being much "bigger" this one loses points to most ratebeerians.
