Sweet crystal malt aroma. Mild flavor - very sweet and a bit grainy. Very few hops detectable. Fairly full-bodied for the style. Decent, but not great. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 20, 2007 Pours a nice copper with decent aroma. However, the first sip sets the tone for what is a very weak, watery effort. Double the flavor, and you would have a good drink. As it is, it leaves you shaking your head about what could be. ryderbik (10), Junction City, Kansas, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 18, 2007 Pours a very pale amber with a wispy thin head. No lacing to speak of. Smells of biscuity malt and herbal, tea-like hops.
Very biscuity tasting malt, lightly fruity finished with light herbal hops. But it’s the malt that you taste in the finish and aftertaste, Lightly sweet mouth. This is decent, I like the biscuity character but something doesn’t mesh well here. Above average but little else. BeerBelcher (945), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jan 17, 2007 I thought this beer to be a drinkable but unremarkable amber ale marked by a biscuity taste with sour undertones.
It pours an attractive deep red color, with minimal head which quickly disappeared. Aroma is a very mild caramel malt hop flavor. Taste was a blend of maltiness and alcohol at first followed by a lot of biscuity flavor with mild sourness and oakiness in the finish, which I felt in the bottom/back of my mouth.
Mouthfeel is a bit harsh. This beer is rather drinkable, but doesn’t have a lot of very distinguishing qualities.
